Meet Carly Lightstone
Carly Lightstone is a duly qualified and registered occupational therapist in good standing with The College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC), formally the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC), and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). Carly earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Western Ontario.
Carly has over 16 years of experience as a registered occupational therapist. Carly specializes in assessing and treating adults with complex physical, emotional and cognitive injuries. Her career spans public acute care and private community rehabilitation sectors in Ontario and British Columbia, providing a comprehensive perspective on recovery.
With over a decade of experience in mentoring and managing occupational therapists, Carly is renowned for her ability to assess individuals with complex injuries, effectively communicate findings and provide insightful recommendations. Carly has completed functional capacity evaluation training with OccuPro and has attended professional education in the areas of functional assessment and life care planning.
Carly is known for her ability to effectively communicate findings and provide insightful recommendations. She completes both functional capacity evaluations and cost of future care assessment/analysis. Carly has worked with ICBC, WorkSafe BC and extended healthcare providers.
